It’s February so we can’t help but share a chocolate recipe for two. We’ve spiced this one up (both literally and physically) with maca, saffron and cayenne.
Maca is an adaptogen that is touted for its many benefits, including increasing sexual desire, and improving sexual function in men. While just one of these hot chocolates probably won’t make a huge difference, incorporating maca into your diet on a daily basis may be just the ticket, so start now, and keep your maca habit going.
Saffron: For centuries saffron has been considered an aphrodisiac, and is touted as being able to heighten sensations of touch and sexual desire. It’s expensive, and a little goes a long way, so sprinkle just a pinch into both sweet and savoury foods on a regular basis.
Cayenne: Spicy in taste, cayenne may also help spice up your love life. It is known to improve circulation, which affects all areas of the body, if you know what we mean. Just be careful you don’t add too much, as it may be over-stimulating to your sinuses, causing your nose and eyes to run like crazy, which is arguably a bit unsexy.
