  • Sproos® up your health by adding collagen to your daily routine. Collagen is the body’s most abundant protein – it’s found in our skin, muscles, bones, blood vessels, digestive systems and tendons. Sadly, our body’s natural ability to produce collagen wanes with age, which can lead to chronic health issues like joint pain, digestive issues and dull, dry skin. Learn more about collagen here.

Thankfully, Sproos® is here to help! Our Performance Multi-Collagen is a source of three types of collagen (types I, II and III). The three types of collagen work together to provide whole body collagen support.

  • Recommended Purpose: To help with the formation of collagen for the maintenance of good health.

Directions: Add one scoop to your favourite hot or cold beverage and mix until fully dissolved. A great addition to your daily coffee, smoothie or shake.

Caution: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. If you have liver or kidney disease or have been instructed to follow a low protein diet, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Collagen may cause mild gastrointestinal disturbances.

What’s Inside

  • Hydrolyzed Collagen (from grass-fed North American bovine hides)

Our grass-fed (and finished) pasture-raised USA cattle are raised without the use of hormones, antibiotics or pesticides.

Grass-fed collagen comes the hides of cattle. It is also known as “bovine collagen”. Bovine collagen is an excellent source of collagen types I and III. Type I collagen is the most dominant type of collagen in the body and type III is found in our muscles, digestive system, blood vessels and skin. This makes grass-fed collagen great for all-round body health and recovery from injuries.

  • Hydrolyzed Collagen (from North Atlantic wild-caught fish skin)

Our premium wild-caught marine collagen is sourced from North Atlantic fish and processed locally in Canada. It is tested to meet the world's most stringent standards for heavy metals and toxins.

Marine collagen comes from the parts of the fish (scales and skin) that would usually be discarded during processing. Marine collagen is a source of type I collagen. Type I is the most plentiful collagen in our bodies. It can be found in our skin, tendons, bones, teeth, ligaments and connective tissues. Collagen is often associated with skin health and rightly so! Type I collagen is the main component of our skin and is a key building block for maintaining its elasticity and firmness. That’s why marine collagen has long been touted in the cosmetic industry for its skin enhancing benefits. Marine collagen is slightly more expensive than other types of collagen, but it has the greatest bioavailability. Gram for gram, marine collagen will deliver the greatest impact.

  • Chicken Bone Broth Powder (from cage-free North American chickens)

Our chicken bone broth comes from cage-free USA chickens raised free from antibiotics and hormones.

Chicken bone broth collagen, of course, comes from chickens. Chicken bone broth collagen is a great source of type II collagen. Type II collagen is present in our bodies in much smaller amounts than types I and III. Type II is found in our cartilage, making it a valuable contributor to joint health.
