In brief, turmeric has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anti-tumor activity in the body. Because of this, it can help with various diseases that are characterized by high levels of oxidative stress or inflammation. In addition to the turmeric, our Super Turmeric Latte has MCT and coconut milk powder that adds a boost of healthy fats. Each serving also contains 3 grams of our premium wild-caught marine collagen which is a source of protein.

The good thing about this recipe? It is totally customizable! We know that everyone prefers their breakfast oats a little differently. Whether you prefer steel cut oats or instant oats, this recipe is for you. When it comes to toppings, we recommend nuts (walnuts and almonds) and fruits like strawberries or blueberries. All of these foods have evidence to suggest that they can help fight inflammation and are high in antioxidants. If you like your breakfast oats sweeter, we recommend a drizzle of maple syrup or honey, but any sweetener will do.

RECIPE

PREP TIME: 3 mins   /  COOK TIME: 1 min - 30 mins   /  TOTAL TIME: 4 mins - 33 mins

INGREDIENTS

  • dried oats
  • sweetener of choice
  • Sproos Super Turmeric Latte
  • water or milk of choice
  • toppings (nuts, seeds, dried fruit, fresh fruit, granola, etc.)

METHOD

  1. Cook oatmeal according to directions on packaging.
  2. Add in 1 scoop of Sproos Super Turmeric Latte to cooked oats and mix until completely combined. If needed add a splash of water or milk until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Finish off with any toppings and a drizzle of maple syrup or honey. Enjoy!
